She answered all of my questions and even informed me about the importance of fluoride. I cannot wait to get my teeth cleaned by her again! If you go there please request her! Posted On: 02/05/2024 I wish I can give this place no stars because they gave me the worst experience. For my first appointment they didn’t even give me no type of teeth cleaning. Then I came back to them on Saturday Feb 3, 2024 because I needed to get fillings done and didn’t get that done because for one the appointment hotline lied about them being able to do fillings on Saturdays even though I kept asking if they were sure about it and then when I started to complain to the nurse or dentist assistant who ever that Spanish brown skin lady is that has the ginger hair color with locs she was very rude and nasty and told me I shouldn’t be upset because I waited a long time to get the fillings done. As a health professional you shouldn’t be talking to patients like this for no reason at all and I will be taking this to the hire ups to get her dealt with because this wasted my time and for her to say that to me was uncalled for should have never been said and with that I will never come back to this place. Posted On: 02/01/2024 Appointment for cleaning and regular examination was at 5 pm I was called about 10 minutes for x ray right after I went to the examination room took some more pictures The Doc came examined my teeth and told me everything was ok for my cleaning right after the hygienist Nikki came in to clean my teeth I was nervous because I have sensitive gums but she did an amazing job and zero pain Everyone was super friendly This was my first visit and I'm very satisfied with my service so far I highly recommend this place 😀 I never went to a dentist that called me this fast in and out with wonderful service Jewel S

Friendly staff front of house and dental staff! I’ve been going here since I was a child, and now as an adult I’ll still continue to use there guys for my primary dental care! Andrew P

Posted On: 01/20/2024 I must say .. my first visit was an unforgettable one! Woke up with a swollen face and a wisdom tooth that needed to be extracted. I called several offices & unfortunately they were closed but Canarsie Cosmetic was open! Overall, that extraction was the worst pain I’ve felt in my life. But the customer service was 10/10!! From the dentist, to the assistants and the front desk staff. It was a welcoming experience and they supported me through that pain. I was literally screaming and crying and they really worked as a team until my extraction was completed. Amazing dentist btw! Positive attitude.

I recently scheduled an appointment to begin my braces journey but after this painful but relieving day, I will now cancel that appointment because I am sticking with Canarsie Cosmetic!!

Posted On: 01/17/2024 Such a terrible experience with Dr. Held. I came in for cavity fillings and was met with so much hostility for whatever reason. He had a condescending manner to him. He and the dentist that did my consultation moved too quickly and didn’t even initiate respectful conversations about the process. Then had the nerve to have an attitude when I asked questions and spoke to him. They act like they can’t have a simple nice conversation with you, just very judgemental. I’m your patient, you’re touching my teeth, talk to me nicely and let me know what’s going on! Hostility shouldn’t be present in a place where dentists are supposed to be helping people learn better oral care.

Other than that, they did the filling fine (as far as i know) , but he also didn’t have the decency to talk to me afterwards and wrap up our session. It's also very cramped and loud.

Hopefully they get better at communication, we can all live, learn, and do better—that’s the beauty of it 🙌🏿. Sarah
