Posted On: 08/07/2023 This establishment/business is more focus on taking out loans to pay for dental work instead of actually giving treatment or follow up care to the existing dental problem. The Dentist expressed i needed gum treatment and said Rosa will be in to explain the rest. When Rosa came in she expressed my gums were so bad it's surprising I have any teeth. Rosa proceeded to tell me my insurance will not cover the treatment and I need to take out a 30.000 loan and she can see if I qualify. Then she asked if I had good credit.
My issue is why the Dentist himself didn't expressed this after a 3 minute exam. Also provide recommendations until I began treatment. I could do some home care to prevent any more additional problems.
If my gums was in such bad condition why not prescribe antibiotics, a prescription mouthwash or recommend a different type of teeth brushing.
I also followed up with my insurance and they said I only have preventive coverage, however my Dentist could submit a claim and see if the work could be approved.
I have been asking for my Xrays completed at this office because I will follow-up with another Dentist to ensure everything this Assistant Rosa said was true and they have yet to send it to me. I will continue on my quest to ensure everything that was told to me is factual but not receiving my x rays, have me doubting the validity of my consultation outcome. Doreen A

Posted On: 08/02/2023 Dr. Held lives up to his name, he's a great Dentist and I didn't feel a thing... he is taking care of my mouth and teeth with skill of his years and I can feel the knowledge of his experience. The staff is very welcoming and they make sure the patients are well prepped for the upcoming procedure. I felt at ease in the environment and all my procedures went very well. I will recommend to everyone! Boss Lady S

Posted On: 07/28/2023 UPDATE: I found a GREAT DENTIST that removed the tooth and guess WHAT? No $6k in medication nor $5k in teeth work. I had no issues with my gums and my teeth were FINE! This dentist just wants money that’s it! HAPPY NEW YEAR GUYS! Please don’t bother going to this dentist if you want a serious dentist that’s not in it for just the money or how many patients they can see in a day. I get there and I was seen immediately by everyone but the dentist! Finally he comes in, checks my mouth for 30 seconds, made no eye contact nor asked me any questions. Walks out. Lady walks in and tells me that I need my tooth removed (which I knew) and that I need a bone graph worth $5k and $6k worth of medication?!?! WTH?!? Crazy! And get this. They don’t even clean your teeth. Heck the dentist doesn’t even spend enough time with a person to even do that. Let alone tell me that all my teeth are loose and that I have a horrible bacterial infection? I don’t understand how they figured all this out based on an x-ray and 30 seconds tops looking at my teeth. He told me I have gum disease based on my gums are not bright pink but darker because I’m Afro Latina and it’s hereditary! My gums don’t even bleed! Do not go to this dentist! You will be disappointed unless you like spending thousands of dollars like a sucker. Sue P

Posted On: 07/15/2023 The worst no one speaks or understand English, x-rays taken doctor doesn't look at or seem concern of your visit. A medical staffer who does speaks English comes in before the doctor and gives out medical advice. This office seems only interested in getting you to spend money out of pocket. Beware!! Vanessa J

Posted On: 07/09/2023 Horrible, Money Hungry, Scam Operation. Went to get a cracked tooth checked out. Didn’t even look for 2 mins before he Told me it needed to be removed and I needed to have a $3,000 bone graft done, which they said my insurance doesn’t cover. I will be reporting them to my insurance company how are you apart of their network but don’t accept their insurance for anything. After going to an oral surgeon i was told the tooth didn’t need to be removed it could be saved easily. I just needed a route canal and a crown. After seeing I wasn’t interested in any of their scam procedures they quickly sent me off with no explanation of anything. I will be switching from this dentist office immediately they will never see me again. MONEY GRAB BEWARE. DONT BELIEVE THE GOOD REVIEWS THEY ARE FAKE. 320 E
